Starts With A Dream
Ieuan the Lion Memorial Fund was set up to remember our wonderful son, Ieuan. He loved to sing, act, dress up, and make everyone laugh. From a very young age, Ieuan loved being on stage and dreamed of becoming a famous performer one day.
When he was 12 years old, Ieuan suddenly became very ill. Over six months, his health got worse. He lost his voice, his sight, and the ability to move. But through it all, he stayed strong and never stopped smiling.
Ieuan sadly passed away on 3rd July 2007 at just 13 years old. He had the heart and courage of a lion, and we miss him every day.
In 2009, we started the charity in his memory. We wanted to give something back to the kind people who helped us during the hardest time of our lives. Our dream was to help other families like ours, by giving them a break when they need it most.

Nestled in the heart of Kiln Park Holiday Centre, Tenby, our fully-adapted holiday home offers families caring for a child with a life-limiting condition a peaceful break, free of charge.
Designed with comfort, accessibility, and relaxation in mind, the home includes wide doorways, ramp access, adapted bathroom facilities, and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for creating joyful moments away from hospital routines.
This special place gives families the chance to rest, spend quality time together, and make precious memories that will last a lifetime.
